Is my new age. Yes, it was my birthday today! Had a lovely one - went out to dinner with my family, wore a fetching dress, and had a sparkler on my dessert :)
The maitre'd was bloody adorable - elderly chap with a very genteel British accent. I've dubbed him Alfred, because he looks like one.

Unfortunately, I still can't drink :( Waited this whole time to do so, and now I can't because of a medication. Bugger! Will have to resort to sparkling cider yet again....
